Muriel Bowser: The right leader for right now

Not only does Bowser understand the issues, she is pragmatic and thoughtful in her approach to solutions. Upon learning about the heavy financial burden that many parents and caregivers face with transporting their children to and from school, Bowser crafted a bill to help ensure money would not be a barrier for us regarding our kids’ education. While some try to downplay this important and necessary piece of legislation, for regular folks like us, it is a big deal.

Candidates who deserve your vote on Nov. 4

Bowser is by far the best choice for mayor. There are many reasons but key to them is her ability to transcend the differences among the electorate. She is a fifth-generation Washingtonian who understands the needs and wants of those who have lived here for generations yet is part of a younger generation able to understand those who are moving here today looking to enjoy all that Washington has become.
